Big Campground but not many defined & cleared bays for tents or caravans. Clean flush toilets but byo toilet paper. - Can ba a problem if you discover that afterwards.No defined fire pits so there are piles of ash & charcoal scattered around. Nice display board with great photos of wildflowers in the area. Dogs & generators allowed. Not far from Kokerbin Rock and Granite Way.

Fantastic 72hr free camp. Clean large sites and the cleanest loos & camp kitchen I've seen in a free camp. Plenty of wood on the ground for a fire no need to cut trees down which is prohibited. Walk around the town that once was read the history.

Lovely surrounds. This is an on the site of the Old Town so there are some ruins about. Beautiful trees including gimlet gums. Flushing toilets, clean camp kitchen which even had dishwasher liquid and a cloth. All this for free. Highly recommended, as is the Granite Way, a drive through the local area with great walks. Thanks to Bruce Council. Loved it.

A nice little camping area made from the remains of a town long gone. The facilities are excellent with toilets including disabled access, kitchen area with sinks to wash up and a large, clean and sheltered BBQ area.Most sites are set up for caravans but there is a tent area also. We visited in January so the bush was all dried out but I WILL revisit in Winter/Spring.

Great spot for camping. Wonderful walks around the bush and where the town use to be. The old church is still there. Great camp kitchen, bbq and toilets.Please, clean up after yourselves..Not far from Bruce Rock. Local craft shop at Bruce Rock was brilliant.

Great free camp!! Pet Friendly!Lots of room and heaps of sites. Suitable for tents, swags, camper trailers and Caravans. Lots of individual camp sites in the main area, we choose to camp in the big open space camping area.Clean toilets, good camp kitchen and lots of bins.Walking trails up onto the rock and lots to look at around the old town site.

Fantastic free camp venue. Large, well spaced out sites with great facilities. Don't forget to visit Kockerbin Rock.

Stayed here for 2 nights, place is great. Kitchen and restroom super clean, camping sites all set up with fire pits.Heaps of bins around to keep place clean too.Also went on some amazing hikes that are within the camp-site (seen some beautiful wild flowers on the way).Worth a stop off even if it's a night and best of all it's a FREE camp site

This is just an amazing place to camp. Not far from Perth either. Lovely quiet camp sites and always clean & tidy. There are flushing toilets and a camp kitchen attatched. If you enjoy bush camping with a twist this is the place. Lots of nature trails/walks and lots of history about the original town site.
