RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort
Not usually one for caravan parks but given it is the only option in Monkey Mia we had to choose RAC. We asked for a more ‘private’ camping spot (which I know is a difficult ask in a caravan park) and they popped us in the only couple of palm trees which was nice. The facilities were very clean and functional. The staff were happy and accomodating. A+ location. Would stay here again happily!

Smithy's Seaside Adventures
Great non powered camping right on the beach. Basic but million dollar views.Road in is 35km of soft sand and rock and corrugations, very narrow, single lane. Took us over an hour . I would advise not coming in until after 2pm to give those leaving a chance to get out. If you meet a van coming the other way in most parts will be very difficult to pass each other.

Fairbridge Village
As an ex Fairbridgian girl, very traumatic to go back after 50 years. The place has changed but it retains its old charm slightly. So much damage caused by the mine site nearby. The fresh water river, where we used to swim and catch huge black maron and gilgies, is gone due to a dam being put up further up in the hills. It was also our source of water supply. Beautiful, clear, clean fresh water gone.

RAC Margaret River Nature Park
Such a great place. So quiet. It's an amazing place to stay with kids and adults. The mountain bike tracks are awesome. Not too easy or hard. The wide spectrum of choices you can pick to stay is great, the powered sites and tents are really good to hang out with family or friends. Or the cabins are very good, especially privacy. The view for some of the sites is very good, and in the morning you can see nature do its thing, especially in the evening. Also an average price too, if you don't have any mountain bikes, you can rent them for cheap and reception is friendly. The toilets aren't great but you can always take a portable one.I'd recommend this to anyone because it's great to everyone!
